Redmi 12 5G launch date in India confirmed - Check expected specifications

Redmi 12 5G price in India: Redmi is all set for the launch of the Redmi 12 5G smartphone. The global debut of the smartphone is scheduled for August 1 and the launch event will take place in the national capital. The company has also shared some basic details about the smartphone. The smartphone will come with a triple camera setup at the rear and will be available in three distinct colours in the Indian market. 

The leaked images of the Redmi 12 5G smartphone suggest that it will run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 operating system. As far as colour variants are concerned, the Redmi 12 5G will be available in Jade Black, Moonstone Silver, and Pastel Blue colours. It is likely to come with a glass-back panel with a primary camera of a 50-megapixel main camera. 

A microsite of the device is also live now. According to information available on it, the smartphone will come with Redmi's biggest display ever. Images also suggest that it will come with a power button and volume rockers on the right side. The power button is expected to double up as a fingerprint scanner.

Furthermore, the phone is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, along with a 5,000mAh battery. The company has also hinted that the phone will be priced at around Rs 10,000. Moreover, the Redmi 12 is expected to sport a water drop notch display for a modern look and feel.

Apart from this, Xiaomi is also scheduled to launch Redmi Watch 3 Active smartwatch and Xiaomi Smart TV X Series on the same day.
