Xiaomi unveils Redmi K80 Series: Check price, features and other details

Xiaomi Redmi K80: Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi K80 Series in China. There are two smartphones in this Series: Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro. Both these smartphones are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipsets and offer 120Hz AMOLED display and HyperOS 2.0 software.

Xiaomi Redmi K80: Price 

The price of the Redmi K80 starts at Rs CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 29,000) for the base variant of 12GB + 256GB. On the other hand, the top-end variant with 16GB RAM + 1TB storage is priced at Rs CNY 3,599 (approximately Rs 42,000). 

This model will be available in five colour variants - Mountain Green, Mysterious Night Black, Snow Rock White, and Twilight Moon Blue.

Similarly, the base model of Redmi K80 Pro with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage begins at CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs 43,000). The premium version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is priced at CNY 4,799 (around Rs 56,000). 

The smartphone manufacturer has also introduced a special Champions Edition of the K80 Pro, featuring the Automobili Lamborghini Racing Team branding. This device has been priced at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs 58,000). 

Xiaomi Redmi K80 Series: Specs and Features

Both smartphone in the Redmi K80 series come with a 6.67-inch 12-bit AMOLED display. The display offer 2K resolution (1440 x 3200 pixels) and 120Hz refresh rate. 

It can reach a peak brightness of 3,200 nits and it supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. While the Redmi K80 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the base model Redmi K80 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.Both phones come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. 

In terms of camera, the Redmi K80 features a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Redmi K80 Pro adds a third 50-megapixel floating telephoto lens with up to 2.5x optical zoom.
