PM Kisan Installment Date 2023: Remember this important date; steps to check status online

PM Kisan Installment Date 2023, PM Kisan Status, PM Kisan Installment List: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a government scheme wherein financial assistance of Rs 6000 is provided to farmers every year. The amount is paid in three installments of Rs 2000 each. PM Kisan 13th installment of Rs 2000 will be deposited in the bank accounts of farmers soon. The PM Kisan list of beneficiaries is available on the official website -- pmkisan.gov.in.

The scheme was launched by the Modi government in 2019. It was announced by Union Minister Piyush Goyal during the 2019 Interim Union Budget on February 1. The scheme was launched on February 24 in 2019. The scheme will mark its 4th anniversary on February 23, 2023.

Farmers get the amount directly int their bank account. Once the amount is deposited, farmers will get a confirmation of the deposit on their registered mobile number. They can also visit the bank to check their balance.

PM Kisan 12th Installment

Last year on October 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the 12th installment of Rs 16,000 crore to the registered farmers' accounts. Under the PM Kisan Scheme, three equal installments of Rs 2000 each is deposited into the bank account of farmers every four months.

The PM Kisan Yojana was initially meant for small and marginal farmers (SMFs) having landholding up to 2 hectares but the scope of the scheme was extended to cover all landholding farmers with effect from 01.06.2019.

Farmers can visit pmkisan.gov.in and use your Mobile Number or Aadhar Card Number to check name in the PM Kisan list 2023 for 13th installment. PM Kisan list is released state wise and district wise.

Step 1: Click on the Farmers Corner option on the right side of the homepage.

Step 2: Click on beneficiary status.

Step 3: To open a new page, select the registration number or the mobile number option.

Step 4: Click on generate OTP.

Step 5: If the eKYC is not done, the system will not give any information about the status and may ask to update your KYC.
