Thugs Of Hindostan box office collection day 1: Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan movie's occupancy rate has soared as high as 70 pct! That is a massive opening and will ensure that momentum is built up around the movie from opening day itself and it may well boost it well past the Rs 50 cr mark and thereby break all previous Bollywood and other records set by Indian movies.
However, a slight warning! Thugs of Hindostan movie reviews have not been as good as they were expected. While they are mostly mixed, some have gone ahead and heavily criticised Aamir Khan and company, calling it a wasted opportunity! However, as far as fans are concerned, the movie is worth rushing to watch as is clear from the opening day occupancy rate.
Notably, Thugs Of Hindostan collection day 1 in India is expected to hit Rs 50 cr and more if all things go well and if there is a hiccup of any sort, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan will still manage to limit the damage due to their performances and ensure a Rs 40 cr opening at the least! Thereafter, while movie critics will play a role, there is no denying the fact that it will be word of mouth boost that will actually decide the fate of the movie and whether it will go on to break all records set by movies.
At the moment it is targetting Baahubali as well as the recently released Vijay starrer Sarkar, which grabbed Rs 71 cr worldwide. of course, Aamir would also be looking to surpass his own iconic movie Dangal.
Thugs Of Hindostan collection is also going to milk another big factor for all its worth. While Diwali passed yesterday, the film itself was released today, which is mostly a holiday for people. Also, what follows next is an extended weekend. So, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are holidays! Even banks are closed! That means just one thing! Thugs of Hindstan collections will fatten up like none have ever done before.
What may also add wings to Thugs of Hindostan collection is the fact that the theatre tickets have been hiked and are available from anything between Rs 400 and Rs 1500! This itself will balloon the collection considerably. While Aamir is not very happy about Thugs of Hindostan ticket prices being hiked, the reality on the ground is that they are very much pricey and fans will have to pay through their noses to watch it. Last, but not least, is the fact that there is no newly released rival movie in theaters at the moment to hurt Thugs.
