Thugs of Hindostan box office collection: The star-studded film, which was predicted by the analysts to get grand success at the box office, has limped its way to the Rs 150 cr mark in India collection alone. The film, which has cast Bollywood heavyweights like Aamir Khan, was pegged as the biggest Hindi film of not just the year, but all time. Thugs also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif, but even that was not enough to get the movie lovers to come to the theatres.
Thugs of Hindostan has done so miserably bad at the box office that it may well exit the theatres soon. After a good start with an all-time record of over Rs 52 crore collection on the first day, the Aamir Khan starrer failed to generate enough buzz to pull audiences to theatres.
This YRF big budget film film will probably have to exit theatres before it can even recover its costs. The film's earnings have been falling constantly as it earned Rs 29.25 crore Day 2, Rs 23.50 crore on Day 3, and 18 crore on Day 4. The movie could earn only Rs 35 lakh on Day 18.
