IRCTC Char Dham Yatra 2021: Following the popularity and success of the 'Shri Ramayana Yatra' train operated on the Ramayana circuit, IRCTC has now launched another very popular pilgrimage circuit 'Char Dham Yatra' by 'Dekho Apna Desh' Deluxe AC tourist train.

According to a report by news agency ANI, in view of the decreasing number of COVID-19 cases across the country, the Indian Railways has decided to operate a special train in the month of September which will cover several top tourist destinations including Char Dham - Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram and Dwarkadhish.

IRCTC has also tweeted about this tour package from its official Twitter handle. The tweet from IRCTC said, "IRCTC will provide devotees a spiritual journey to Char Dham: Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram and Dwarkadhish. 'Dekho Apna Desh' Deluxe AC Tourist Train will be flagged off on 18.09.2021 from Delhi Safdarjung Station for a journey of 16 days."

The ANI report states that as per a press release, this tour will cover the Badrinath visit including Mana village, which is located near China border, Narsingha Templer at Joshimath, Rishikesh, Jagannath Puri including Golden beach of Puri, Konark Sun Temple, Chandrabhaga beach, Rameshwaram including Dhanuskhodi, Dwarkadhish including Nageswar, Jyotirlinga, Shivpur beach and Bet Dwarka. The guests will be travelling roughly 8500 kms on this tour.

IRCTC has also tweeted about the prices for this tour. The tweet said, "Affordable price of only Rs.97195 per person (AC First Class) and Rs.78585 per person (AC Second Class), for booking this exciting journey irctctourism.com/pacakage_description?packageCode=CDT10 See."
