India vs England 3rd Test Day 2: After a fabulous win at Lord's in the second test against England, the first day of the third test has been an utter disappointment for Virat Kohli and his men. On Wednesday, Indian skipper won the toss and chose to bat first but none of the Indian batters could pose resistance to the English bowlers and India was bundled for 78 runs only in the first inning.

In the first innings, Rohit Sharma top scored for India with only 19 runs. For England, Anderson and Overton picked up three wickets each, followed by Robinson and Sam Curran who picked up two wickets each. At the end of the first day, England was batting at 120-0. The English openers Burns and Hameed are batting at 52 not out and 60 not out, respectively.
The third test is taking place at Headingley Stadium in Leeds. After this, India will play two more tests against England to complete the five-match series.
At the end of the day's play England was already 42 runs ahead of India without losing any wicket. India played an unchanged team from the last test at Lord's. The playing 11 of India consists of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant (WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.
