The chief whip later stopped Gehlot from reading further and the House was adjourned for 30 minutes.

The opposition BJP created ruckus inside the House and sat in the well over Ashok Gehlot's error.Gehlot, who also holds the Finance portfolio, arrived at the Assembly in the moring to present the budget on the theme of 'Bachat, Rahat, Badhat' (saving, relief and progress) for the financial year 2023-24.

Gehlot had on Thursday said that he has finalised the budget with his team of officers at the Chief Minister's Office.
"Rajasthan's budget will bring savings, relief and progress. Finalised the budget 2023 with the resolution of ensuring #Bachat_Rahat_Badhat of every person of the state," he said in a tweet on Thursday.This is the last budget of the present government as the state is going for assembly elections later this year.
