Delhi AQI Update: The Supreme court emphasised the need for strict enforcement and noted lapses in the implementation of GRAP-4 guidelines. It warned of action against officials responsible for such failures.
There is no respite from air pollution in Delhi as AQI continues to be in the 'very poor' category for the sixth consecutive day. The air quality index (AQI) was recorded 329 at around 9 AM today as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data.

Air quality in the morning today
Out of 39 monitoring stations, two stations -- Bawana (426) and Mundka (408) --? recorded air quality in the "severe" category, while 22 stations remained in the "very poor" category, and the rest fell under the "poor" category, according to the Sameer app, which provides hourly data.
Coldest night of the season
Delhi witnessed coldest night of the season on Thursday, November 28.
Humidity
The humidity level was recorded at 97 per cent at 8.30 AM.
Maximum and minimum temperature
The city is expected to settle at 27 and 9 degrees Celsius respectively.
AQI in different areas of Delhi-NCR at 1 PM
According to official data, the AQI in Anand Vihar was 388, Greater Noida was 259, Ghaziabad stood at 246, Noida at 285, Gurugram at 228, and Faridabad at 167.
Schools in hybrid mode
While permitting physical or hybrid classes to continue, the court refused to remove limitations under GRAP-3 or GRAP-2 unless the AQI values consistently decreased.
GRAP-4
The Supreme Court has ruled that all Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP)-IV measures, with the exception of those pertaining to schools, stay in place until the next hearing on December 2.

The administration also directed state governments to use the labour cess received to assist construction workers affected by the current construction moratorium.
