Kantara OTT release date, Kannada blockbuster Kantara box office collection, Kantara OTT release date Hindi dubbed, Telugu: Ever since its theatrical release, the Kannada period action thriller Kantara continues its magic run at the box office. The movie has garnered positive reviews from audiences and critics alike. 

Written, directed and fronted by Rishab Shetty, Kantara has turned out to be a sensational hit pan-India which was released in the theatres on 30th September. The movie has been a huge hit not just in the South but also in the Hindi belt. 

Kantara OTT Release Date

The huge success of the movie at the ticket window led to a lot of chatter on social media about the release of the movie on OTT platforms. There was also a rumour on various social media platforms that the period action thriller film 'Kantara' will release on 4th November on OTT platform. This led to a lot of buzz online which was recently debunked by the producer of the film on Twitter. 

Karthik Gowda, the producer of the film, tweeted through his official Twitter handle that the film is not releasing on OTT any time soon. He said, "Wrong News! We will let you know when it is coming but certainly not November 4th."

Kannada Blockbuster Kantara Movie Box Office Collection 

The Hindi version of the blockbuster movie 'Kantara' stands tall despite multiple films released in Diwali week. The total box office collection of the Hindi version of the film is Rs 31.70 crore. 

Movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh said, "#Kantara *#Hindi version* stands tall, despite multiple films releasing in #Diwali week… Week 2 is HIGHER than Week 1."

Kantara movie story 

Set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada, Kantara follows a Kambala champion, played by Shetty, who comes to loggerheads with an upright Forest Range officer, Murali (Kishore). Kambala is an annual race, held from November to March in coastal Karnataka, in which a jockey drives a pair of buffaloes, tied to the plough, through parallel muddy tracks.
