Kuttey box office collection: Arjun Kapoor starrer film Kuttey struggles to entice audience 

Kuttey box office: Arjun Kapoor starrer movie Kuttey hasn’t impressed the audience on the day 1 of the box office on January 13. The film earned Rs 1. 07 crore on day 1. So far, the movie has received not so good reviews.

Film analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Kuttey has a slow start on Day 1… Gathered pace in the evening shows at premium multiplexes… Needs to see a miraculous turnaround on Day 2 and 3… Fri ₹ 1.07 cr. #India biz."

As per a Sacnik report, early estimates suggest that the film's India net collection stands at Rs 3.35 crore.

Speaking of Arjun Kapoor's last release, it had scored a decent earner with 'Ek Villain Returns', which opened with over Rs 7 crore and ended up netting Rs 41.49 crores.

Kuttey storyline

Written and directed by Aasmaan Bhardwaj, Kuttey is an action crime movie. The movie stars Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles, along with Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan, and many others in the supporting roles.

Kuttey is a dark comedy centred on a heist planned by multiple crews of corrupt cops and a couple looking for some quick dough to immigrate to Canada. How their plans clash, collide, and result in a climax that is as crazy as it is convoluted, is the crux of the story. The ensemble is led by two suspended cops (Arjun Kapoor and Kumud Mishra), who come against a senior police officer (Tabu), and a Naxal group (led by Konkona Sen Sharma) in a right royal mess.
