RedmiBook laptop launch: Finally, the wait is over! Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, will officially launch the much-awaited RedmiBook series laptops in India during an online event at 12 noon. ​The company has already hinted that the RedmiBook laptop series will be available on e-commerce platform Amazon and on Mi home.

Xiaomi has already confirmed that the new RedmiBook will come in a single Charcoal Grey colour option. The company also took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote: "All-nighter at college or a long day at work? With a 10-hour all-day battery, say goodbye to battery woes!."

The company is aiming to appeal to the affordable end of the laptop segment. The design and some colour options have been teased so far. The laptops will feature a conventional display with webcam and fat bottom bezels. The company has also hinted at the colours.

The upcoming RedmiBook 15 will feature the same design as the other RedmiBook laptop models launched in China. As the name suggests, it is expected to feature a 15.6-inch display with a Full-HD resolution. It will be an LCD screen with a thin-bezel design.
