Price drop! Asus Zenfone 5Z price slashed by Rs 3,000 on Flipkart; check new rate

Taiwanese smartphone brand Asus has announced a price cut for its 2018 flagship device - the Asus Zenfone 5Z - in India. The Asus Zenfone 5Z price in the country has been slashed by Rs 3,000 for both 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants. After the latest price cut, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the smartphone is retailing in the country at Rs 24,999 instead of Rs 27,999 while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the device is selling at Rs 28,999 instead of Rs 31,999. The new prices have been applicable on Flipkart since Wednesday i.e. July 24. 

The smartphone manufacturer has been on a price slashing spree in the country, reducing the price of two of its entry-level smartphones recently - Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Max M2. The former received a price cut of up to Rs 1,500 and now sells Rs 7,999 onwards. The Zenfone Max M2’s price has been reduced by Rs 1,000 and is up for grabs at starting price of Rs 7,999.

Asus ZenFone5Z features and specs

The flagship has is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with AI Engine, featuring a 3rd Generation AI platform that includes the Hexagon 685 Vector DSP, and Kryo 385 CPU cores. With the Adreno 630 Graphics chip, the ZenFone 5Z offers enthusiast level gaming experiences with next-gen graphics and can flawlessly run top end games like PUBG Mobile.

The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera system with Sony IMX363 image sensor with large 1.4µm pixels and a bright F1.8 wide-aperture six-element lens that captures brighter and clearer photos in low-light conditions. There is a 120° wide-angle secondary camera for capturing more expansive landscapes, more natural group shots, and easier photos in cramped spaces. ZenFone 5Z can record video in 4K UHD resolution, with smooth and steady videos assured by three-axis electronic image stabilization (EIS).
