OnePlus 7T series launch date in India confirmed: Here is when the much-awaited smartphone will arrive

While it is the OnePlus TV that is making a lot of noise these days, the smartphone manufacturer has surprised everyone by announcing the OnePlus 7T series launch date in India. The new smartphones as part of this series will make their debut globally in India at an event scheduled for September 26 in New Delhi. Just like the other OnePlus events, this too can be attended by fans and interested customers by purchasing the tickets online. OnePlus has also announced the dates from when the tickets to the launch event will be available.

The company said that customers can start buying the OnePlus event tickets from September 20. The tickets for the event have been priced at Rs 999 each. Notably, OnePlus also posted a teaser for OnePlus 7T on its Twitter handle, confirming smartphone's launch on the mentioned date. However, the teaser did not mention the OnePlus 7T Pro.

The teaser video suggests that OnePlus will play around the smooth experience. The teaser also gives a glimpse of side buttons and flat surface of the display. The smartphone is likely to be launched in India in two colour variants - a blue variant similar to the Nebula Blue on the OnePlus 7 Pro and a glossy silver colour variant.

So far, the leaks have suggested that the OnePlus 7T could come with 90Hz screen and is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus. In fact, the chipset could make its India debut with this device as the Asus ROG II is expected to arrive later. The smartphone should also support a triple rear camera and an improved battery life.

The company is also expected to launch the OnePlus TV on the same date in India. As announced earlier, India will be the first country to get the product. Both the OnePlus TV and the OnePlus 7T series will be launched at the Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi at 7 pm on September 26. All the products will make their global debut on October 10 in London.
