The Honor 20 series was launched in London on Tuesday evening and Huawei's sub-brand has unveiled three smartphones as part of the series - the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 Lite. The lineup follows the tatest trend of three-variant launches, where Pro is more premium variant while Lite is the affordable device. The series comes with an impressive quad-rear camera setup and the Sony IMX586 48-megapixel image sensor. The series will be launched in India next month and will take on the newly launched OnePlus 7 series in the country. Here is a look at the prices and features of each variant -
Honor 20 Pro
Priced at €599 (~Rs 46,500), the Honor 20 Pro is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC and comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB native storage. It has a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a claimed 91.7 percent screen to body ratio. The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, instead of the usual in-display one. It comes with a quad-camera setup at the rear, which is stacked vertically in two modules. The primary camera has a a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor paired with f/1.4 aperture lens and four-axis optical image stabilisation. The other cameras are a 16-megapixel ultra wide angle camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera and a 2-megapixel sensor to add macro details to photos. On the front, the smartphone features a 32-megapixel in-display camera.
The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery which is combined with a 22.5W charging adapter that the company claims can charge the smartphone 50 per cent from nil within 30 minutes. The smartphone manufacturer has ditched the 3.5mm audio port, and uses a USB-C port instead. It runs Android 9.0 Pie and will be available in two colour variants - Phantom Blue and Black.

Honor 20
Priced at €499 (~Rs 39,000), the Honor 20 gets the same processor but comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It too features a quad-rear camera but the 8-megapixel telephoto unit has been replaced with a 2-megapixel depth assisting unit. The other difference is with battery as Honor 20 gets 3,750mAh, but with the same charger. The phone can be purchased in 'Icelandic White' variant instead of blue.
Honor 20 Lite
The most affordable variant of the smartphone has been priced at €299 (~Rs 23,000). It is powered by the Kirin 710 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It comes with a smaller display at 6.21 inches and has a triple rear camera setup featuring a 24-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth-assisting sensor.
It is powered by a 3,400mAh battery and will be available in two colour variants - Phantom Red and Blue.
