Alert! Google just killed this app for Android and Apple smartwatches

If you are a Google Nest app user, then you can't access it on your smartwatch! The American based tech giant, Google has killed Nest apps for both Android as well as Apple watches because of the decrease in the number of people who are frequently using the smartwatches that can control smart home devices. 

Nest apps allow users to view notifications, control the temperature of Nest thermostats, switch to Home/Away modes, switch on or off the lights and many more. It is basically one app for every home and device. Google`s Nest app markets smart home products such as thermostats, smoke detectors and security systems including smart doorbells and smart locks. Its smartwatch app offered a quick way to adjust the thermostat`s target temperature or operating mode.

Version 5.37 of the Nest app instigate the smartphone users to uninstall the app from their smartphone device with a message that reads - "Nest is no longer supported for Wear OS", 9To5Google reported on Wednesday.

However, hardcore users of Nest app would not be affected by the Google`s decision of shutting down the app on smartwatches because it is still available on Android and Apple smartphones and the Nest mobile app.
