Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro Plus, Note 12 launch: Xiaomi's sub brand Redmi has finally launched the most popular Redmi 12 series smartphones  in China today. The company has unveiled three new smartphones --  the Redmi Note 12 or Note 12 5G Racing Edition, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+. All the devices comes with support 5G. 

Redmi Note 12 series pricing 

The Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition will be available at a starting price of Rs CNY 2399 (8GB +256GB storage). On the other hand, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G vanilla variant is priced at CNY 1699. Lastly, The Note 12 Pro+ 5G will be available with 8GB+12GB RAM options. It is priced at CNY 2199. The smartphones might come in similar price category in India.

The Redmi Note 12 series India launch hasn’t been revealed, but it is expected that Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus might arrive in the country next month. However, this is just a speculation and readers are advised to wait for the official announcement from the brand. The poster shared by the brand has confirmed the chipset -- the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, and the fast charging, the BGR Reported.  

The company has confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 Pro will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC. The Redmi Note 12 Pro will also feature an OLED display with a high-refresh-rate and 10,000 levels of dimming. The Pro models will have an "OLED flagship flexible straight screen", Xiaomi has said.

Redmi also revealed that the Redmi Note 12 Pro Pro+ will feature a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HPX sensor at the helm of a triple-camera setup. The sensor also features HDR, 14-bit colour depth, 8K video recording at 30fps, and 4K at 120 fps. The smartphones are likely to available at starting price of Rs 50,000. 

Redmi Note 12 series specifications 

The Redmi Note 12 series will come with an AMOLED display with high refresh rate support, the report added.  The Note 12 Pro  and Note 12 Pro+ are expected to come powered by the Dimensity 1080 SoC and a big 5,000mAh battery. The Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+ will have 67W, 120W, and 210W fast charging support, respectively. Also, The Redmi Note 12 Exploration Edition will feature 210W fast-charging support.
