As per the company, the affordable smartphone will be launched on March 30. Also, a microsite of the smartphone is live and shares some features of the Redmi 12C.

According to the information available on the official website, the Redmi 12C will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity G85 chipset. The company claims that it will be the “Fastest smartphone in its segment”.

Also, the smartphone will have a 50MP dual rear camera setup and a physical fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone. For selfies, it has a 5MP selfie shooter on the front.

The device has a 6.71-inch display and the screen is expected to offer a typical 60Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone will be backed by a 5000mAh battery. However, there are no words on whether it will support fast charging or not. The Redmi 12C has 6GB of RAM and also supports extended RAM of up to 5GB. The storage of the device can be expanded using a dedicated microSD card slot.
It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
