OnePlus Nord CE 2 launch: Stage set for Feb 17 - Budget-friendly, colour options, camera specs and more

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G launch: After successfully launching Nord CE smartphone last year, the global technology brand OnePlus recently announced the launch of its upcoming budget-friendly smartphone OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G in India on February 17.

The company made this announcement via a tweet on Twitter, teasing the design of the upcoming smartphone. The teaser video reveals that the smartphone will be available in a grey colour option and will feature a rectangular triple rear camera setup and will have curved corners.

 The smartphone will feature a punch-hole front-facing camera in the top left corner. 

"On February 17, 7:00 pm IST, OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus Nord CE 2 – a device that takes our Core Edition offering even further with new, enhanced features like flagship 65W SUPERVOOC wired charging," the company said in a official statement.

According to the brand, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 launch is set to happen along with the recently announced OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge bringing a smarter TV experience.

The OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G is expected to be a mid-range premium device. Details about the device have been leaked by tipster Yogesh Brar, the BGR India report said.

The leaked report suggests that the device will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The refresh rate of the device is expected to be limited to 90Hz.
