OnePlus Nord 2T India launch on May 19 - Check expected price, specifications and other details

OnePlus Nord 2T launch: After successfully launching three new smartphones recently, Global technology brand OnePlus is gearing up for another mobile phone launch in India. OnePlus will host a new launch event on May 19, where the company is expected to introduce the OnePlus Nord 2T.

The smartphone manufacturer confirmed the launch event via its YouTube channel, which confirmed the launch date. Based on the recent launches and leaks, we can expect Nord 2T on May 19 from OnePlus. 

The OnePlus Nord 2T was launched recently in Nepal for NPR 64,999 (around Rs 40,600). It is expected to be available in similar price range in India (around Rs 40,000). The OnePlus Nord 2T  comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner for the front camera.

The Nord 2T comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC.  The SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is no support for a microSD card or a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is backed by 4500 mAh battery. It comes with an upgraded 80W fast charging.

 The smartphone runs Android 12-based Oxygen OS 12 out of the box. In terms of camera specs, yhere is a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. For selfies and video calls, the Nord 2T has a 32MP front camera sensor.
