OnePlus 9RT, OnePlus Buds Z2 set to launch in India on Jan 14: All you need to Know

The global technology brand OnePlus has officially confirmed that it will launch the much-awaited OnePlus 9RT smartphone and OnePlus Buds Z2 true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones in India on January 14. Both the devices have already been launched in China. The smartphone runs ColorOS and will get a 50-megapixel primary camera. OnePus Buds Z2 is claimed to offer up to 38 hours of battery life, and come with active noise cancellation (ANC).

OnePlus India recently took to micro-blogging platform Twitter and wrote: The wait is over. A new era begins. OnePlus Winter Edition launch event is coming soon! According to the company, The OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 will be launched at the virtual Winter Edition launch event set on January 14 at 5 pm IST. The launch will be livestreamed on OnePlus India's YouTube channel. The company has also made a ‘Notify Me' page live on its official website.

OnePlus 9RT runs on Android 11-based ColorOS. It sports a 6.62-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the OnePlus Buds Z2 earphones feature 11mm dynamic drivers, and come with Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated OnePlus 10 Pro is also confirmed to be launched on January 11 globally and the first official teaser of the handset has revealed that it would come with all-new triple rear camera array alongside the Hasselblad camera branding at the back. OnePlus also revealed that the smartphone will come in two colour options - volcanic black and forest emerald.

"We have worked hard on multiple upgrades to create a truly well-rounded flagship with the OnePlus 10 Pro. Here's a first look. Personally, I love the refreshed new OnePlus x Hasselblad camera module," Pete Lau, Founder of OnePlus said in a tweet while sharing the first look of the upcoming handset.
