OnePlus 8T vs OnePlus 8: OnePlus on Wednesday evening launched its new smartphone – OnePlus 8T – a successor to the OnePlus 8. The smartphone comes with several flagship-level features like 120Hz refresh rate panel and 65W fast charging. What’s surprising though is that OnePlus 8T price in India is less than what the OnePlus 8 costs. That’s when the OnePlus 8 is supposed to be the more inferior model. This leaves the customers with a tough decision to make. So, here is a quick comparison between the two smartphones.  

OnePlus 8T vs OnePlus 8: Price in India  

The new OnePlus 8T is priced at Rs. 42,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage model. There is a 12GB + 256GB storage model as well, priced at Rs. 45,999. The 8GB model comes in Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver colour options whereas the 12GB RAM model comes in just the Aquamarine Green colour option. 

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 8 price in India starts at Rs 41,999 for the base model that comes with 6GB RAM and 128 GB of storage. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the OnePlus 8 is available in Onyx Black and Glacial Green colours. The variant is priced at Rs 44,999 while the top-end model which comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage costs Rs 49,999. The phone is available in three colours, Onyx Black, Glacial Green and Interstellar Glow. 

Both the 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM variants of the OnePlus 8T cost less than those of OnePlus 8. 

OnePlus 8T vs OnePlus 8: Display and Specs 

OnePlus 8T has a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display on the OnePlus 8T is flat compared to the curved edges on the OnePlus 8 which features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.  

The OnePlus 8T is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. It is the same chipset used on the OnePlus 8. The new OnePlus smartphone comes with a 4500 mAh battery against the 4300 mAh battery used on the OnePlus 8. OnePlus 8T supports 65W Warp while OnePlus 8 supports 30W Warp charging technology. 

OnePlus 8T vs OnePlus 8: Camera  

The OnePlus 8T features a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultrawide camera with 123-degree field of view, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP monochrome camera. The OnePlus 8 had a triple-camera setup. The only change was that it did not have a macro camera.
