OnePlus 12 Series launch date in India confirmed: Here's all you need to know

OnePlus 12 launch date in India: The OnePlus 12 Series, which will include the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, will be launched in India and globally on January 23, 2024. The company has confirmed the date through a video released to mark its 10th anniversary. 

In the video, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer also confirmed that the OnePlus R series will go on sale outside of India and China for the first time in the series’ history. The video reflects on a decade of OnePlus milestones and discusses the company’s future.
 
The OnePlus 12 will come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile with a new 64MP 3x periscope lens, and a boundless Flowy Emerald colourway. The OnePlus 12 Series was recently launched in China. Check out its features and specs below.

In terms of camera, the OnePlus 12 boasts a triple-camera system featuring a 50MP wide lens a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 48 MP ultrawide lens and an industry-first LYT808 50MP main camera co-developed with Sony, OV64B 64MP 3X periscope telephoto camera and IMX581 48MP ultra-wide camera.

The smartphone's body dimensions measure 163.3 x 75.8 x 9.2 mm, weighing in at 220 grams. It features a glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus 2), a glass back (Gorilla Glass) and an aluminium frame. The device is available in a single SIM (Nano-SIM) or dual SIM (2x Nano-SIM, eSIM, dual stand-by) configuration with an IP65 rating.

The OnePlus 12 comes with an LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The 6.82-inch screen has a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, providing a pixel density of approximately 510 PPI. 

The device comes in four RAM and internal storage options, including 256GB with 12GB RAM, 512GB with 16GB RAM, 1TB with 16GB RAM, and a whopping 1TB with 24GB RAM. Utilizing UFS 4.0 technology, the OnePlus 12 offers high-speed data access and efficient multitasking.
