OnePlus 10 Pro set to launch in India by March end - Check expected price & specs
Pete Lau has announced that the new OnePlus 10 Pro will be available in India North America, and Europe by the end of March 2022.
Good news for OnePlus fans in India! After launching its flagship phone in China, the global technology brand OnePlus has now officially confirmed the launch timeline of the new OnePlus 10 Pro in India during an ongoing (Mobile World Congress) MWC 2022 in Barcelona, Spain.

"Following the incredible sales achievements of the OnePlus 10 Pro in China, I’m happy to announce the device will launch in North America, India, and Europe by the end of March 2022. If you’re in Barcelona, you can be among the first to go hands-on with the OnePlus 10 Pro at MWC from today to March 3, 2022," Pete Lau, Chief Executive Officer of OnePlus, wrote in a blogpost.

The Lau has also announced that the company is launching a new retail model in India. OnePlus aims to build synergy between the online and offline experience of buying a device.
The HyperBoost Gaming Engine powers a series of new gaming features designed to deliver a smoother and more stable gaming experience for users – these include GPA Frame Stabilizer, O-Sync, and GPU Load Control (GLC). HyperBoost will be available for the OnePlus 10 Pro when it launches in India, Europe, and North America via an OTA update, he further added.
'OnePlus 10 Pro' China variant comes in two colour options - volcanic black and forest emerald and the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 4,699 (around Rs. 54,500), 8GB + 256GB CNY 4,999 (around Rs. 58,000) and 12GB + 256GB at CNY 5,299 (around Rs. 61,500), respectively. The smartphone is expected to come in similar price range in India.
The specifications include -- a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1,440x3,216 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio and a dynamic refresh rate ranging between 1Hz and 120Hz. It runs on Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 on top.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus panel. Under the hood, this device has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. In terms of camera, the OnePlus 10 Pro carries a triple rear camera setup that houses a 48MP Sony IMX789 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, and optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The camera setup also includes a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto shooter with OIS support.
OnePlus has announced that this year, the company will continue to release more products with 5G capabilities across a broader price spectrum. This new product line-up will also include its most affordable 5G smartphone in India and Europe yet. OnePlus will also release new IoT products in existing categories and expand to new IoT categories in 2022.
The smartphone brand has also announced that it will be borrowing the 150W SUPERVOOC charging technology which has been developed by the OPPO Research Institute. The tech will debut first on a OnePlus smartphone in the second quarter of 2022.
The fast charging is enabled by a customized twin battery, a new battery PCB protection board, and an integrated microcontroller to improve overall charging efficiency. The company claims the 150W SUPERVOOC can charge a 4,500 mAh battery from 1-50% in just five minutes.
