Central government employees are often hit with the problems of pension issuance post-retirement due to unawareness about the government facilities and schemes. This is despite the government having taken various steps and launching initiatives to help employees with their pension-related issues. The central government employees and pensioners form a workforce of over 1.1 crore. The government had in 2017 launched a portal named Bhavishya to help the employees track their pension processing and payments online. The system is capable of giving real-time data of pension processing right up to the stage of first credit of pension into the account of the pensioners. Bhavishya has made the concept of e-PPO possible. Over 50000 pension cases have already been processed through Bhavishya software. Any central government employees nearing retirement may benefit from it. Thus, if you get registered at Bhavishya portal, it will help you in ensuring seamless and accurate pension processing. Below are some common concerns and their answers related to pensioners registered on Bhavishya:
How to get connected on Bhavishya Portal?
Bhavishya Portal will be connected through its website bhavishya.nic.in. A retiree receives login id and password through E-mail and SMS automatically. DDO & HOO has to get registered on Bhavishya for login id and password.
