7th Pay Commission latest news: Bihar Police Recruitment 2020 is open now and invites applications from the 12th pass applicants for the post of Forester. As Bihar is one of those states that has implemented 7th Pay commission for its state government employees, the selected candidates post-successful recruitment process will be appointed in Level-5 of the 7th CPC (Central Pay commission). The total number of vacancies is 236 and the last date for receipt of applications is 10th September 2020. 

7th Pay Commission Pay Scale

As mentioned above, the selected candidate will be given 7th Pay Commission pay and perks that includes Dearness and other allowances too. At the time of appointment, the appointee will get Level-5 7th CPC pay matrix means monthly salary from Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300. Apart from this, the candidate will be given Dearness Allowance (DA) and other 7th CPC allowances as well.

Category wise Bihar Police Forester Vacancy Details

As mentioned earlier, the total number of vacancies are 236. out of these 236 vacancies, 91 vacancies will be unreserved, 23 are reserved for the EWS candidates, 125 vacancies are reserved for the Schedule Caste (SC), 49 vacancies are reserved for the EBC (Extremely Backward Class), 37 vacancies are reserved for the Schedule Tribe(St) while 9 seats are reserved for the SC Female candidates. 3 vacancies are reserved for the ST Female candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should be in the age group of 18 to 25 years and its age will be calculated on 1st January 2020. Apart from this, the applicant has to be 10+2 (Intermediate) in Science Exam Passed from any recognized Board.
