Now the central government employees and pensioners will not have to wait too long to receive the increased salary in their accounts.
The dearness allowance is likely to increase by 11 percent from the current rate of 17 percent to a total hike of 28 percent cumulatively.
The increase in the DA will include a 3 percent hike from January to June 2020, a 4 percent from July to December 2020, and another 4 percent hike from January to June 2021 that is (17 + 4 + 3 + 4) 28 percent.

The maximum limit of family pension till now was Rs 45,000 per month which has now been raised to Rs 1.25 lakh per month.
