Stock market holiday: NSE, BSE to remain shut for Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday this week

Stock Market holiday: There will be no action on the bourses for two additional days this week.  According to the holiday calendar available with the BSE, both the leading stock exchanges -- the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE will remain closed on April 4 (Mahavir Jayanti) and April 7 (Good Friday).

India's first listed exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) will also remain closed for trading in the morning session on April 4, Tuesday. It will resume trading in the evening session from 5 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm. 

MCX will remain shut for both sessions on the occasion of Good Friday on April 7.

Upcoming stock market holidays in April 2023

The equity market will also remain closed on April 14, Friday next on the occasion of Dr.Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti.
