Patel Engineering: Up 7.55%. Bags orders worth Rs 1,251 crore. Patel Engineering, a civil construction company specializing in the hydropower sector, today announced that it has bagged Rs 1,251 crore, Lot II Civil Work contract for 500 MW Teesta-VI Hydro Electric Project, Sikkim from Lanco Teesta Hydro Power Limited, a wholly-owned Subsidiary of NHPC Ltd.
Manali Petrochemicals: Up 4.97%. To partner with Econoic, UK for new Polyol Technology.
PVR (up 5.47%)/Inox Leisure (up 8.61%): Maharashtra Government approved the opening of cinema halls and auditoriums in the state from October 22. 2021. SOP for entry will be issued soon. Besides, cinema halls and auditoriums in Karnataka will be allowed to operate at full capacity from October 1, while adhering to COVID norms. The guidelines mandate a minimum of one dose of vaccine along with other social distancing norms.
NBCC: Up 2.59%. NBCC (India) has secured the work order of 'Construction of 2000 Social Housing' at Hulhumale, Maldives on an EPC basis. The total cost of the project is USD 130 Million (Rs. 968.50 crore approx.)
SJVN: Up 2.04%. SJVN has bagged the full quoted capacity of 1000 MW at a Viability Gap Funding (VGF) support of Rs 44.72 lakh per MW by the Government of India, through Request for Proposal (RFP) floated by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA). The tentative cost of the Construction and Development of this Project is Rs 5,500 crore. The project is expected to generate 2365 MU in the first year and the project cumulative energy generation for 25 years would be about 55062 MU.
Indiabulls Housing Finance: Up 2.79%. The company has sold the stake in OakNorth Holdings Ltd. (the wholly owning parent company of OakNorth Bank plc) for approximately Rs 251 crore and the proceeds from the sale
AstraZeneca Pharma: Up 1.09%. The company has received Import and Market Permission in Form CT-20 from the Drugs Controller General of India for Selumetinib 10 mg & 25 mg capsule. Selumetinib 10 mg & 25 mg capsule is indicated for the treatment of pediatric patients 3 years of age and older with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and who have symptomatic, inoperable plexiform neurofibromas (PN). The receipt of this permission paves way for the launch of the Selumetinib 10 mg & 25 mg capsule in India, subject to the receipt of related statutory approvals and licenses.
Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd: Up 0.15%. The company has signed a Lease Agreement with M/s Alliance Air for the deployment of HAL Do-228 aircraft in Arunachal Pradesh. This will give a boost to India's Regional Connectivity Scheme. This development opens a new vista in civil aviation for HAL
United Breweries: Down 3.07%. Competition Commission of India (CCI) has imposed penalties totalling over Rs 873 crore on United Breweries Ltd, Carlsberg India, All India Brewers' Association (AIBA) and other individuals for cartelisation in the sale and supply of beer in various states and Union Territories. A final order has been passed against three beer companies -- United Breweries Ltd (UBL), SABMiller India Ltd, now renamed as Anheuser Busch InBev India Ltd (AB InBev), and Carlsberg India Private Ltd (CIPL). The fines on UBL and Carlsberg India are Rs 751.83 crore and Rs 120.6 crore, respectively. A fine of over Rs 6.25 lakh has been imposed on AIBA and various individuals have also been fined by the regulator. The period of cartelisation was considered to be from 2009 to at least October 10, 2018, with CIPL joining in from 2012 and AIBA serving as a platform for facilitating such cartelisation since 2013.
Biocon: Down 0.46%. US FDA has completed an on-site pre-approval inspection (PAI) of the Biocon Biologics Insulin Manufacturing Facility in Malaysia for Insulin Aspart between September 13 and 24, 2021. After the inspection, the agency has issued a Form 483 with a total of 6 observations across Drug Substance, Drug Product and Devices Facilities. The company does not expect the outcome of this inspection to impact our commercialization plans for insulin Aspart in the US.
Hindustan Copper: Down 0.36%. The company has proposed to offer up to 31.98 lakh equity shares to eligible employees of the company at Rs 116 per equity share. The Employee OFS shall remain open from September 27, 2021, to September 29, 2021 (both days inclusive).
Nucleus Software: Down 1.72%. Nucleus Software Exports has announced an up to Rs 158.72 crore buyback offer, wherein it will buy 22.67 lakh equity shares at Rs 700 apiece. The Board of Directors of the company has approved the proposal for buyback of its shares from the equity shareholders on a proportionate basis through the tender offer route.
Poly Medicure: Down 0.64%. The company has incorporated a Step-down Subsidiary ('SDS') 'PolyHealth Medical Inc.' in the USA. PolyHealth Medical Inc will be manufacturing and marketing medical devices.
Mayur Uniquoters: Down 5.80%. Promoters Sold 2.5 Lakh Shares (0.56% Equity) In Open Market on Friday (24-September).
Sansera Engineering: Up 3.84%. Nomura funds Bought 6 lakh shares at 820.10/share. Plutus Wealth Mgt Bought 5 Lakh Shares at 811.50/share. IIFL MF Bought 4.7 Lakh shares at 820.1/share. IIFL AMC Bought 3.97 lakh shares at 818/share. Abu Dhabi Invest Authority Bought 4.88 Lakh shares at 821.5/share.
