Fire breaks out at Noida airport's construction site, no injuries reported

A minor fire erupted at the under-construction Noida International Airport site, causing temporary chaos. The fire broke out in a crane due to a short circuit. On receiving a Dial 101 call, the police and fire brigade swiftly responded, dispatching two fire units. However, the airport's management team had already controlled the blaze.

No injuries or loss of life were reported in the incident. Jewar Police in-charge stated that legal action would follow if a formal complaint is lodged. Officials from the airport have announced a comprehensive review of security measures following this event.

The Chief Fire Officer emphasized the rapid response and reassured that safety remains a top priority. Construction work continues uninterrupted.
