Ganesh Visarjan 2023: Central Railway to run 10 special Mumbai local trains — Check full list, running schedule

Mumbai local train schedule: In a move that will majorly relieve commuters traveling on Mumbai local trains, Central Railways has informed that it will run 10 suburban special trains on the Main line and Harbour line on the night of Thursday, 28 September, and Friday, 29 September, on the occasion of Ganapati Visarjan. Additionally, Central Railway also informed that the trains will be slow locals that will halt at all stations. Here are all the arrival and departure timings and full schedule of the special Mumbai Local trains being run during Ganesh Immersion and Anant Chaturdashi festival this year —

1) CSMT departure 1.40 hrs
Kalyan arrival 3.10 hrs. 

2) CSMT departure 2.30 hrs
Thane arrival 3.30 hrs

10 Suburban Special Trains on the occasion of Ganpati Immersion (Anant Chaturthi): Full train running schedule and timing

Central Railway informed that it will run 10 suburban special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) - Kalyan / Thane / Belapur stations on September 29 (midnight of September 28/29) for the benefit of passengers on the occasion of Ganpati Immersion (Anant Chaturthi) 2023.

These suburban special trains will stop at all stations.

The details are as under-

Main Line - Down Special Trains:
CSMT-Kalyan Special will leave CSMT at 01.40 hrs and arrive Kalyan at 03.10 hrs. 
CSMT-Thane Special will leave CSMT at 02.30 hrs and arrive Thane at 03.30 hrs.
CSMT-Kalyan Special will leave CSMT at 03.25 hrs and arrive Kalyan at 4.55 hrs.

Main Line - Up Special Trains:
Kalyan-CSMT Special will leave Kalyan at 00.05 hrs and arrive CSMT at 01.30 hrs.
Thane-CSMT Special will leave Thane at 01.00 hrs and arrive CSMT at 02.00 hrs. 
Thane-CSMT Special will leave Thane at 02.00 hrs and arrive CSMT at 03.00 hrs.

Harbour Line - Down Special Trains:
CSMT-Belapur Special will leave CSMT at 01.30 hrs and arrive Belapur at 02.35 hrs. 
CSMT- Belapur Special will leave CSMT at 02.45 hrs and arrive Belapur at 03.50 hrs.

Harbour Line Up Special Trains: 
Belapur - CSMT Special will leave Belapur at 01.15 hrs and arrive CSMT at 02.20 hrs. 
Belapur - CSMT Special will leave Belapur at 02.00 hrs and arrive CSMT at 03.05 hrs.

CR will run 10 suburban special trains in Main line & Harbour line on 28/29th (Thu/Fri) September'23 night on the occasion of Ganapati Visarjan.

They will be slow locals halting at all stations.

17,187 idols immersed in Mumbai on 7th day of Ganpati festival 

Civic officials stated that as many as 17,187 idols of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Gauri were immersed in various water bodies here on the seventh day of the 10-day Ganpati festival on Tuesday.

No untoward incident was reported during the immersion of idols on the festival's seventh day on Monday, the civic official added.
