Latest News Today: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday said he is "totally convinced" that a solution to the India-China standoff on border has to be found in the domain of diplomacy. Also, Indian Army Chief Gen MM Naravane on Thursday carried out a comprehensive review of the security situation in the eastern Ladakh region, days after China made fresh attempts to change the status quo along the southern bank of Pangong lake triggering further escalation in tensions, military sources said. Amid a surge in coronavirus infections in India, the Union Health Ministry on Thursday said Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh accounted for 70 per cent of the total coronavirus deaths in the country.
