Special trains for Diwali 2018 full list: Indian Railways has decided to run a number of special trains to clear the festival rush of passengers. Most of these trains have been added on the routes where the passenger load is the heaviest. Travellers need to check IRCTC website irctc.co.in for latest updates. The Indian Railways used to see a huge passenger rush, especially during Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja. The public transporter used to run special trains to clear the extra passenger rush every year.

Below is the special trains for Diwali 2018 full list of trains, routes, timing:

* 02597/02598 Gorakhpur-CST Mumbai-Gorakhpur Superfast Weekly SpecialTrain (10 trips)

The 02597 Gorakhpur-CST Mumbai Superfast Weekly Special train will depart from Gorakhpur from 20.10.2018 to 17.11.2018 on every Saturday at 08.25 a.m. to reach CSTM Mumbai at 12.15p.m. the next day (05 trips). In the return direction, the 02598 CST Mumbai-Gorakhpur Superfast Weekly Special will depart from CSTM Mumbai from 21.10.2018 to 18.11.2018 on every Sunday at 02.20 p.m. to reach Gorakhpur at 06.45 p.m. the next day (05 trips).

Train No. 09301 Indore – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Weekly Special train will leave Indore at 19.20 hrs o­n every Sunday and reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 13.20 hrs the next day. This train will run from 28th October to 18th November, 2018.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09302 Delhi Sarai Rohilla - Indore Weekly Special train will leave Delhi Sarai Rohillaat 14.30 hrs o­n every Monday and will reach Indore at 09.30 hrs the next day. This train will run from 29th October to 19th November, 2018.

This train will have AC 2 Tier, AC 3 tier, Second Class sleeper & Second Class General coaches. Train No. 09724 Bandra (T) – Jaipur (weekly) Superfast Special train will depart from Bandra (T) every Thursday at 06.15 hrs from 18th Oct to 15th Nov, 2018 and reach Jaipur at 3.10 hrs the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09723Jaipur– Bandra (T) (weekly) Superfast Special train will depart from Jaipur at 08.15hrs every Wednesday from 17th Oct, to 14th November, 2018 and arrive Bandra (T) at 04.45 hrs o­n the next day.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nimach, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara, Ajmer and Kishangarh stations in both directions. The train will have Ist AC, AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class and General second class coaches.

Train No. 09622 Bandra (T) – Ajmer (weekly) Superfast Special train will depart from Bandra (T) at 06.15 hrs every Monday from 15th October to 12th November, 2018 and reach Ajmer at04.10 hrs the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09621 Ajmer – Bandra (T) (weekly) Superfast Special train will depart from Ajmer at 06.35 hrs every Sunday from 14th October, 2018 to 11th November, 2018 and reach Bandra Terminus at 04.45 hrs the next day.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Durgapura, Jaipur and Kishangarh stations in both directions. The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class and General second class coaches.

* For the convenience of passengers and to clear extra rush during the festive season, Western Railway has decided to augment o­nE additional AC 3-Tier coach o­n temporary basis in Train No. 22444/22443 Bandra Terminus – Kanpur Central Express with effect from 19th October, 2018 to up to 4th January, 2019.
