New IRCTC offer: Plan your trip to Chennai-Munnar-Thekkady for 5-day tour at Rs 7370

Indian Railways' subsidiary IRCTC Tourism has a tour package for Chennai-Munnar-Thekkady which starts at Rs 7370 per person. It has been named as "Chennai-Munnar-Thekkady Rail Tour". The package is for four nights and five days from Chennai and the destinations covered are Chennai - Kochi - Munnar - Thekkady. As the Indian Railways on its official website irctctourism.com stated, under this package tourists will be provided standard class seats in Trains. IRCTC Tourism website says that the upcoming date of journey is on 28th November 2019.
 
In the triple occupancy segment, tour package starts at Rs 7370 and on double occupancy, it is Rs 9620 the tariff is for children with a bed is Rs 5300.  The journey from Chennai Central Railway station will arrive at 20:55 hrs. The frequency of this train is every Thursday.

IRCTC's package includes Train Journey in (Standard)SL Class, Transportation - by exclusive Non AC Vehicle for the entire tour, Accommodation - in Standard hotels at the destinations on room & breakfast only basis, All sightseeing and excursion as per the itinerary, Travel Insurance, Toll, parking and all applicable taxes for above services. So you will not have to bear any extra expenses. The package covers almost all the major expenses.

The itinerary includes a visit to Munnar, tea plantations, Mattupetty Dam & Echo Point, Thekkady and morning boat ride in the lake of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
