The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2021 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognised Medical/Dental and other Colleges/ Institutes in India.

The eligibility criteria applicable to appear in NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to the candidates desirous to take admission to INIs like AIIMS. Similarly, the criteria for minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for admission to the MBBS course shall also be applicable to INIs. Further, the common counseling for admission to the MBBS course in these INIs shall be conducted by the DGHS as per the Time Schedule specified in the MCI’s regulations.
The result of NEET (UG) 2021 may be utilised by other entities of Central/State Governments, including Indian Nursing Council/ Nursing Colleges/ Schools, JIPMER) for counseling/ admission to relevant courses such as B.Sc. (Nursing) and B.Sc. (Life Sciences) in accordance with their rules/ norms/ guidelines.
NEET (UG) 2021 will be conducted in 11 languages, including Hindi and English through pen and paper mode on August 1, 2021. The application form will be available at https://neet.nta.nic.in/webinfo/Page/Page?PageId=6&LangId=P#skipcontent.
The Candidates, who desire to appear in NEET (UG) - 2021, are advised to carefully go through the details in the Information Bulletin (available on this website) regarding the Test, Syllabus, Eligibility Criteria, Reservation, Categorization of Seats, Cities of examination/ application the procedure, examination fee, etc., before submitting an online application for this exam.
On the other hand, after the cancellation of the CBSE Class 12 Board exams 2021 on 1 June 2021, the decision on the final date of the NEET-UG 2021 exam will be finalised soon. Students are urging to postpone the NEET-UG 2021 exam this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, if not postponed then the exam will be scheduled for August 1, 2021.
