JEE Main 2020 application process reopened at eemain.nta.nic.in: You can apply before this date

JEE Main 2020 application process: The National Testing Agency or NTA has restarted the application process for JEE main 2020 on special request of the Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. The HRD minister had tweeted earlier in the day hinting that a major announcement could soon come for JEE Main 2020 aspirants and later on confirmed that the application process for the national engineering entrance exam has been restarted.

The JEE Main 2020 application process has been specially reopened keeping in mind the needs of engineering aspirants who were planning to study abroad and therefore had not registered for the entrance exam earlier. The last date to apply for the same is May 24, 2020.

“Students who dropped the idea to study abroad, here is your chance to pursue your studies in India. I have advised @DG_NTA to give one more opportunity to students to submit new/complete online application form for JEE (Main) 2020. Hurry! Forms available till 24th May,” the tweet from Pokhriyal read.

Candidates who are yet to register for JEE Main 2020 engineering entrance exam can register themselves now by logging onto jeemain.nta.nic.in website. 

The NTA had recently announced the revised schedule or JEE Main 2020 examinations which will now be conducted on July 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 2020. The class 12 exams will be conducted between July 1 and July 15, giving students two days to check their preparation for the JEE exam.

The application fee for the exam is Rs 650. For female candidates, the same is Rs 325. For Sc, ST, PwD and transgender category the fee is Rs 325. Those who wish to appear for both papers will have to submit Rs 13000. For reserved category candidates and females, the same is Rs 650.
