Indian Railways makes this important thing mandatory for trains passengers

Booking for Indian Railways special trains began yesterday but in post-lockdown condition, travelling by train is a little different. An Indian Railways train passenger having confirmed train ticket needs to follow some travel guidelines issued by the Ministry of Railways to keep himself and other passengers safe from the COVID-10 pandemic. In these guidelines, having Aarogya Setu App in one's mobile phone is a must. The Ministry of Railways has announced about the mandatory Aarogya Setu App download in train passenger's mobile phone. Failing to which, the passenger won't be allowed to board the train even he or she has confirmed ticket.

The Ministry of Railways informed, "Indian Railways is going to start few passenger trains services. It is mandatory for passengers to download Aarogya Setu app in their mobile phones, before commencing their journey."

Informing about the MHA protocols to be followed post-arrival to one's destination the Ministry of Railways tweeted, "As per MHA guidelines, on arrival at their destination, the travelling passengers will have to adhere to such health protocols as are prescribed by the destination state/UT. Before commencing the journey, passengers are advised to check their destination state regarding all such protocols."
