Fake universities alert! UGC releases list - Check all 23 names here

Planning to pursue higher education? You need to be very careful with your choice of college or university as there are a number of fraudulent institutions operating in India. The University Grants Commission on Tuesday (July 23) had released a list of fake universities on Tuesday that are function in different parts of the country. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of fake universities with eight of the 23 names on the list. It is followed by national capital Delhi which is home to seven such colleges. There are two such institutions each in West Bengal and Odisha and one each in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Puducherry.
