Dhadak box office collection: The Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor movie is expected to earn 2.61 crore over the weekend. The movie has earned 54.17 crore so far. The movie has witnessed good collections through the week. The movie's collection may go up further this week. The movie is remake of Marathi film Sairat. The film started on a good note with Rs 8.71 crore first-day collection, surpassing the Student Of The Year collection.

The movie is still buzzing at the box office despite starred by the newcomers. The movie also has been in the news as lead actress Janhvi Kapoor is daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor.  The movie which is a love story of a girl and a boy from different castes. The boy is from lower caste and the girl is from a royal family in Rajasthan. The family of the girl never accepted the girl getting married to a lower caste man. Eventually, the girl's family find the couple and kill the man and their child. The movie raked in Rs 11.04 crore in the second day and Rs 13.92 crore on its third day.
