Delhi Lockdown: How to get e-pass from government - Follow these steps online
The Delhi government has further extended the lockdown in the national capital by one week till May 17, 2021. This is the fourth time, the Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal has extended the lockdown in the national territory which was imposed on April 19, 2021.

As per a tweet by ANI, during this lockdown period in the national capital, the metro services will also remain suspended. The ANI tweet reads, "Delhi lockdown extended by a week till May 17; Delhi Metro services to be suspended during this period: CM Arvind Kejriwal." While addressing the media, the Delhi CM said that although the number of COVID-19 cases in Delhi has come down in the last few days, however, if things are taken lightly, the cases will rise again given the current state of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

During this lockdown period, essential services will be allowed, however, anyone travelling in the NCT (National Capital Territory) will require an e-pass issued by the Delhi government except for those involved in essential services, as per a report by india.com.
One need to follow some simple steps in order to apply for an online e-pass. The steps are as follows:
Step 1: One needs to login to epass.jantasamvad.org
Step 2: One then needs to select his or her preferred language
Step 3: Now, one has to select the ‘e-pass for travel during curfew’ option and click on Submit
Step 4: Now, one has to fill up the online application form and upload the required documents
Step 5: After the application is approved, an SMS will be sent after which one can download the e-pass
It must be noted that e-Pass is being issued for those who are engaged in providing essential services, but do not have a valid(/Government) ID.
As per the announcement by the Delhi Chief Minister, the Delhi metro services will also remain suspended till May 17, 2021, until 5 AM. According to the Delhi health bulletin released on Saturday, Delhi recorded 13,336 fresh COVID-19 cases and 273 deaths over the last 24 hours.
