AndhaDhun Box Office Collections: Ayushmann Khurrana takes crime thriller earning to Rs 18.40 crore; achieves this 'rarity'

AndhaDhun Box Office Collections: Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte starrer AndhaDhun has earned Rs 18.4 crore in first four days. The film had earned Rs 2.7 crore on opening day. However, it has made a good progress over the weekend by earning Rs 5.10 crore on Saturday, Rs 7.2 crore on Sunday and Rs 3.4 crore on Monday.

The movie has earned more on Monday than on Friday. The 'rarity' has even amazed Taran Adarsh.

"#AndhaDhun proves its mettle on the crucial Mon... Day 4 [Mon] is HIGHER than Day 1 [Fri], which is a rarity in today’s times… Despite weekday pricing at plexes... Strong footfalls in metros is driving its biz and that should help put up a healthy total...," he said.

However, the movie has not done well on the overseas box office. It has earned a mere Rs  4.52 crore on the global box offices. However, as per estimates, the film's worldwide collections may be around Rs 28.11 crore. 

The crime thriller has even managed to take Hollywood science fiction Venom heads-on. Venom had a solid India debut with Rs 4.08 crore on opening day. Venom has earned Rs 15.86 crore in first three days.

Ayushmann has played the role of a blind music enthusiast in the movie. The movie revolves around a murder mystery involving Ayushmann.
