7th pay commission today: Online Applications are invited for Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors at Pondicherry University. Interestingly, the selected candidates will get the pay scale according to 7th CPC. The last date for the recruitment application of Associate Professor and other posts at Pondicherry University is November 04, 2019. Earlier, the last date of application was September 09, 2019.

7th Pay Commission Pay Scale:
The selected candidates will be offered pay scale as per 7th pay commission.
For Professor : Academic Level-14 Rs.1,44,200/- to Rs.2,18,200/-
For Associate Professor : Academic Level-13A Rs. 1,31,400/- to Rs.2,17,100/-
For Assistant Professor : Academic Level-10 Rs57,700/- to Rs.1,82,400/

Professor: 44 Posts
Associate Professor: 68 Posts
Assistant Professor: 67 Posts

Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum eligibility criteria are as per UGC /AICTE / NCTE/ Pondicherry University -Specialization/Qualifications whichever is applicable.

Application Fees:
Unreserved/Economically weaker sections/Other Backward Class category candidates need to pay Rs 1000 as applications fees, No application fee is charged to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman and the women candidates (OBC/EWS/UR) need to pay Rs 500 as applications fees.
