7th Pay Commission Latest News: National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy is inviting applications in the prescribed format for filling the positions of Exhibition Officer, Maintenance Officer, Preservation Assistant, and Security Assistant. One vacancy has been advertised in each of these categories. The total number of vacancies is 4.  The posts have been advertised in the Employment News (22-28 February 2020).

The vacancies for Exhibition Officer, Maintenance Officer are in Group B category while those of Preservation Assistant and Security Assistant are in Group C category

The candidates selected for Maintenance Officer, Preservation Assistant and Security Assistant will be placed on a deputation basis. The Exhibition Officer could be placed on a deputation/promotion/absorption basis.

The organisation is a subordinate office under the administrative control of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) under the Ministry of Textiles.

Payscale as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC):

-- Exhibition Officer - Level 6 - Rs 35400-Rs 112400
-- Maintenance Officer - Level 6 - Rs 35400-Rs 112400
-- Preservation Assistant -  Level 5 - Rs 29200-Rs 92300
-- Security Assistant - Level 5 - Rs 29200-Rs 92300

Eligibility criteria

In case of deputation, the term of deputation is initially for 3 years which shall be extended up to a maximum term of 7 years. The officials of the state governments and central government will be considered for absorption.

The desirous candidates should send the complete application form within 60 days of the publication of the advertisement in the Employment News. The candidates will also have to submit Vigilance Clearance Certificates & Copies of APRs for last five years duly attested by a competent authority along with other supporting documents.
