7th pay commission latest news today: Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway (NR), has released a notification for the recruitment of positions of Multi-Tasking Staff-Catering (Cooking & Service). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline ie. 15 October 2019. The best part is that the candidates who will clear the written examination and get selected for the job will get salaries as per the 7th pay commission pay scale. The last date for the application submission for the positions is October 15, 2019. Notably, the examination date is on October 31, 2019 (Tentative).

7th Pay Commission Pay scale:
The candidates selected for the Multi-Tasking Staff-Catering post will get the pay scale as per the Level 1 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.

Railway Recruitment 2019 vacancy Detail:
RRC has notified a total of 118 vacancies out of which 24 seats are available for MTS Commercial Department Catering Unit- Cooking Side and 94 seats for MTS Commercial Department Catering Unit- Service Side.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates applying for the post needs to have a 10th pass with ITI/ Trade Diploma in food production/ Trade Diploma in bakery from any recognized institute/university.

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2020):
The age limit set for the given position is between 18-33 Years. Also, age relaxation is applicable as per govt rules.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the performance in Written Examination. Selected candidates will have to go through Document Verification and Medical Examination after clearing the written exam.
