7th Pay Commission Latest News - MHRD invites application for appointment to this high post at IIIT (PPP) Bhopal

7the Pay Commission Latest News: The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under the Government of India has invited applications for appointment at the post of Director of Indian Institute of Information Technology in Public-Private Partnership mode (IIIT-PPP), Bhopal. The posts carry a fixed pay of Rs. 210000/- (Fixed) as per 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC) with a Special Allowance of Rs. 11250/- per month with allowances as admissible under the Rules of the Institute.

The recruitment of the IIIT Director falls under the ambit of the Department of Higher Education in the MHRD.      

Eligibility Criteria:  The Director of an IIIT, should have a proven administrative, teaching and research background (including significant experience in research guidance at the Ph.D. level) with the leadership qualities to head an Institute of National Importance.

The candidate should be a Ph.D. in an appropriate branch with an outstanding academic record throughout and a
minimum of 7 years experience as a Professor in a reputed Educational Institute (relaxable in the case of an outstanding candidate).
The applicant should preferably be not more than 60 years of age. The appointment will be on a contractual basis for a period of five years or till the attainment of 70 years, whichever is earlier, as per usual terms and conditions.

The first Director of the institute is being appointed.
