7th Pay Commission Latest News: Attention all those who have missed the opportunity to apply for this sarkari Job. A very good news is here for all those who failed to apply for the posts of Staff Car Driver in the office of Senior Manager, Mail Motor Service. The Department of Post under the Ministry of Communications, Government of India (GoI) has extended the last date for submission of application for the posts to 1 June 2020. The desirous candidates have to send their application by 5 pm (1700 hrs).

The position is for Mumbai office. The date was earlier extended to 4 May from 30 March. The advertisement for this position was made on 13 February 2020. 

The decision to extend the deadline for submitting application forms has been taken in the wake of coronavirus pandemic, that has forced a nationwide lockdown. Earlier, the last date for submitting the application form was 12 April, 2020.

For detailed advertisement visit the website www.indiapost.gov.in. Overall, 10 posts were advertised, out of which 4 vacancies are for unreserved category, 1 each for EWS, SC, ST and ESM (Ex-serviceman) and 3 vacancies for OBC category.

The pay scale for the posts is as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). The posts are (ordinary grade) General Central Service 'Gr' C non-gazetted, non-ministerial in the pay matrix - Level 2. The pay scale for this position is Rs 19900.

The age limit for direct recruits should be between 18 and 27 years. For SC and ST candidates the age relaxation is for 5 years while for the OBC it is 3 years. Government servants up to the age of 40 yeasr can also apply for the job. The applicant should at least be 10th passed and should have knowledge of motor mechanism.
