7th Pay Commission Latest News: Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India (GoI) is inviting applications from male and female applicants for filling up certain sarkari jobs - posts of Assistant Commandant (Communication) are on offer. The posts have been advertised in the Employment News (22-28 February 2020).

The advertisement has been issued by the Directorate General's office. The total posts that are likely to be filled are 10 which may increase or decrease as per the requirements.

The positions of Assistant Commandant (Communication) fall under Group 'A' Gazetted (Combatised) & Non-ministerial in Sashastra Seema Bal.

Payscale as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC): The pay scale for the posts is at Level 10 of the CPC. The pay scale will be between Rs 56100 and Rs 177500 per month along with all the allowances as applicable in the Force. The posts are temporary but likely to continue as per the advertisement.

The selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in the country or outside the territory of India and will be governed bt SSB Act & rules amended from time to time.    

Eligibility criteria

-- The candidates should not be exceeding 35 years of age. Relaxation will be given in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time-to-time mentioned in para 6 of the detailed advertisement.

-- Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or Electrical Communication Engineering or Electronics from a recognised university or Institute or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers or equivalent or M.Sc. in Electronics or Telecommunication or Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent from a recognised university or All India Council of Technical Education approved institute.

-- Desirable: Possession of NCC - 'B' or 'C' certificate.

The last date for receipt of application will be 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.
