7th Pay Commission latest news: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications for specialist, Scientific Officer and other posts. The candidates selected on these positions will be entitled to attractive pay and other benefits as per the guidelines prescribed by the 7th Pay Commission (CPC).The candidates who are eligible for the said posts may apply online. The last date to send application is 10 September 2020. 

7th Pay Commission Pay Scale and other important details regarding vacancies 

1. Name of post - Speciality Scientific Officer and others 
2. No of vacant seats - 35 
3. Eligibility - MBBS Degree, Maters Degree in Anthropology/Sociology, Master’s Degree in Psychology/Criminology, Degree in Homeopathy 
4. Pay Scale as per 7th CPC - Pay Matrix Level 10 and 11 
5. Work Experience - At least 3 years’ experience in the relevant fields 
6. Age Limit - maximum 35 years (Applicants for the reserved category will be given age relaxation as per the existing rules) 

Application Fee 

The candidates who are applying for the above positions will be required to pay application fee in accordance with the category they fall in. The General/OBC/EWS candidates are required to pay Rs 25 as their application fee. The fees can be paid in any of the State Bank of India (SBI) branch in cash or through online payment. The candidates who belong to SC/ST and PWD are exempted from paying the fees along with women applicants.
