NEET UG Counselling 2020 result: Provisional result for Medical / Dental mop up round declared on mcc.nic.in; final MBBS-BDS result in evening | Here is how to check

NEET UG Counselling 2020 result: Mop-up round of counselling for MBBS and BDS candidates have been declared by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates who have qualified for mop-up round of counselling can check their results online at Medical Counselling Committee official website mcc.nic.in. Final result for mop round is expected to be released later in the evening today at MCC’s official website.

Informing about the provisional result, an official notice on mcc.nic.in reads, “It is for the information to all the candidates that the provisional Result for Mop Up Round of Medical/ Dental NEET UG Counselling 2020 is now available. Final result will be displayed on 17th December, 2020. Any discrepancy in the result may be informed to MCC of DGHS through email on the Email id: mccresultquery@gmail.com till 10:00 AM of 17th December, 2020, after which the result will be treated as Final. Candidates are requested to wait for the Final Result and Allotment Letter before proceeding for booking of tickets etc. for the purpose of Reporting to the allotted college,” the official notice reads. 

Here is step-wise-step guide to check NEET Mop-up round counselling result
Step 1: Visit Medical Counselling Committee official website: mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link that reads “Provisional result mop-up round MBBS and BDS seats” on the homepage.
Step 3: You will be prompted to a new page
Step4 : Enter your login credentials as instructed and hit submit
Step 5: Provisional result for mop-up round Medical/ Dental NEET UG Counselling 2020 will be displayed on the screen
Step 6: Download it and keep it for future use.
NEET mop-up round is held to fill the vacant seats for MBBS/BDS programmes in central universities, such as ESIC, AIIMS and JIPMER. MCC has allowed all the candidates who have not been allotted a seat or those who exited from NEET 2020 counselling to appear in the mop-up round.
