Ola was receiving complaints from its customers that even after booking, no clarification has been received from the company regarding the test drive and delivery schedule. The company had earlier said that it would start deliveries of the scooter from this month itself.
Ola had earlier planned to take the final payment for its e-scooters S1 and S1 Pro from October 18 and deliver it from October 25.
Ola Electric earlier tweeted that the delivery will be made on first serve, first reserved basis! The company is also providing an EMI plan starting at Rs 2,999. The Ola electric scooter was launched in two variants – Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro on 15th August.
"Hi, Test rides start Nov 10 & most customers prefer a test ride before paying the balance amount. We've aligned the remainder payment with the start of test rides so you can test ride at your convenience & then pay balance. Be sure, this will have no impact on delivery (1/2)

The reservation and position in the purchase queue will not change as it is made on first serve, first reserved basis! “Our delivery dates also remain unchanged,” he mentioned.
